2014 UM at NDSU

EveretteGriz are we road tripping to Laramie? Lotta microbrews enroute if we plan it right. Not sure about NDSU. Would be a fun game environment for sure.

San Antonio to Fargo: 1,341 miles, exclusively interstate...google maps says 16 hours.
San Antonio to Laramie: 1060 miles, NO interstate until I hit the CO/NM border. google maps says 15 hours...I think I could do it in 13.

Hmmm.....

I bet Booby Dildo could get the '74 Power Wagon there in under 11. With a spare tank of course.

My friends and I already have reservations and are expecting to go. More than likely flying in, might be looking on here later for people who might want to hang out with a buncha mid 20 year olds at some bars or somethjng

Haha well we just enjoy having a good time and honestly I love the downtown scene after the game so my gals and I will be there...unfortunately half of us are gay gals so... :P

Griz fans,

If you think of going to the game, I would recommend taking the train. Few hours longer than driving, but it only costs around $200 per ticket and there is a bar on the train :).

I'm thinking that a drunken excursion across the Highline in a train car sounds like a good time.

No shit. That sounds like a blast. I may have to think about that one. From Butte I suppose Havre is my best bet to hitch a ride on the train. Kurtis, What do you think?
This would be awesome!! I'll probably catch it in Havre so I'm not back tracking to far. But Amtrak sounds like a good DD!

Is Havre closer to Billings than Glasgow?

I'm not sure on that but I do know that Havre is a major fueling stop and lots more people get on and off there witch makes for easier pickings for seating. We usually hang out in the lounge car anyways. Better drinking atmosphere.
