I saw that too and had to look back to see how they've done previously.

Quarterfinal vs New Hampshire - L 20-17
Finished Season ranked #6.

2012 Record: (5-6, 5-2 SLC)

2011 Record: (3-8, 1-6 SLC)

2010 Record: (2-9, 1-6 SLC)

2009 Record: (6-5, 4-3 SLC)

They dominated the majority of their opponents last year. Even with their breakout year in 2013, I'm not sure if I'd have them ranked as high as these polls do. Top 10, definitely. Without looking at seeing who they have coming back, I'm assuming they've got most of their standout players coming back, which probably warrants the high approval in the preseason.

I think the Griz will definitely be one of the top 10 teams in the nation. I'm just not sure that ranking can survive our schedule.

Which is the beauty of playoff football. As long as you make the playoffs, anything can happen.
