2014 Prediction

Guessing about a mirror of this year. I think there will be plenty of talent on the field. Direction from the sidelines? Mediocre. Happy with this season I'm sure I'll be happy with next but I don't see a NC. Brawl.... BIG yes. EWU and WY...we loose close ones. We're gonna beat NDSU in the dome.

It's too soon to tell, I'm still grieving. I don't know if I am in the denial or anger phase. Probably angry denial I'd guess.
For sure. Thats kinda why I started this one. Keep gettin bummed out everytime I get on facebook and see the FCS stuff. Still hoping that the 08 or 09 Griz tradition shows up again.

I think the Griz have a decent shot at Wyoming too. Bison steaks anyone?

I truly think you'll beat Wyoming. Surprised how many of you don't.
Sounds like their QB is in the draft this season. From the sounds of it, he is a playmaker. Never watched him play but I know they came within a few points of Nebraska earlier this season.

In today's Missoulian Delaney spoke of 2014. When it came to running backs there was no mention of Treshawn Favors. Do you think this was an oversight? I thought he was supposed to have a real high upside and am surprised we haven't heard more about him. What am I missing?

When talking on the TV show about next year's LB's he forgot to mention Addison Owens. He's old. ;)

Maybe they're leaving. Owen didn't play the last two games. And I didn't see Favors in the stands with the rest of the RS's for the last three home games. But then again, maybe it was just an oversight on MD's part.

How in the hell are you guys making predictions when there are still two unknown opponents on your schedule, or did I miss something? I see ten opponents and at least four losses with those ten.

There's only one game left to schedule. The Griz' home opener is Sept. 13 against South Dakota with a 7 p.m. kickoff. The Sept. 20 game is likely DII Western Oregon.

As long as one of them isn't MSU :lol:

I would guess a lot of people are doubting the Wyoming game because the Pokes' offense was high-octane this season. They averaged 498 yards total per game and 377 through the air. Quarterback Brett Smith is a dual-threat gunslinger who was among the NCAA leaders in total offense, AND, Montana's senior-laden defense wasn't exactly adept at stopping those types of offenses in 2013. i.e EWU, Sac. State and Coastal Carolina.

I don't think jumping into that frozen pool helped him any either.

We will just have to wait and see buddy.

Brett Smith is on the NFL draft list . http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/prospectrankings/2014/QB" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Look. We should schedule MSU in the early slot. They are close. They want revenge. And it's a lead pipe cinch we'd beat em twice in one year!
