2014 Montana Grizzly recruiting

Anybody know the status of the Holdsclaw kid from Havre? Big, strong, fast and good hands.

Are you joking? No one from Havre could possibly have any talent!

camas must have a heck of a team or a big cheerleading section as nearly the whole team believe they are griz material....

Coach Eagle has done a great job with the Camas team. Camas has dominated football in SW Washington for the last three years and most of the kids shown on the list in the previous post have been playing together over that period.

There's a lot of talent on the team. I'm not sure all of those kids have FCS level talent but they're certainly worth keeping an eye on.

I live in Camas and will do my best to "report back" periodically.

Poor old Payton was in Italy and had to return early to keep up with his recruiting job.

Soon we will be recruiting eighth grade kids for Griz football......no rest for Payton!

It will be interesting to see how Cook does this next year. He loses part of that big line to protect him. I am not sure how many of his receivers return, but I think most of them do.

Dallas Cook loses 4 out of his 5 starting offensive lineman due to graduation. Only the center returns as a senior next season. 3 out of those 4 lost lineman were All-State...1st team OT Nick Butorovich (JUCO), 2nd team OG and 2nd team DT Anthony Moritz (Tech), and 1st team LS Drew Schleeman (Tech), who also played OG.

Cook loses two good recievers to graduation in 1st team All-Stater Bryce Armstrong (MSU Northern) and Honorable Mention Jon Allen, but returns 2nd team All-State WR Dalton Daum as a junior next season.

He will also be without the services of 1st team All-State fullback Zach Bunney (Tech). But he returns Honorable Mention running back Jake Eisenbarth as a senior.

It will be interesting to see if Butte can reload...
