2014 Montana Grizzly recruiting

Cook needs to go somewhere other than UM.

First of all he isnt and never will be good enough to play QB at UM. I dont care about his size or arm strength he isnt accurate and his footwork is poor. I dont want a project I want a player. I also dont think he makes good decisions with the ball, he throws it up a lot as a jump ball and hopes his WR makes a play.

Wow. Big kid for being a high school senior.

Talking with his father this weekend, he stated Mick D. has talked to him."

There is another good lineman coming out of Livingston Chris Empter--also played basketball until this year when he tried wrestling and ended up 5th in state heavyweight. About 6'4 and around 275.

Maybe Tuff Harris can talk to him for the Griz.

His folks are big griz fans so it shouldn't be too difficult, although I heard NDSU might be looking his way.

Yates is an athletic animal who loves the weight room. Talked to his wrestling coach about his work ethic and he couldn't say enough about him. As I recall he hit the books very well. On the mat he is a man among boys and if I can do anything about it next year, I'm pointing him to the Zoo. Interesting enough when I asked about interest his coach said noone was really talking to him right now..... Big mistake.

That was probably the case when you talked to his coach rscott. Coach Mac at msu watched Tucker wrestle a week or two before state and the Griz and CSU coaches just started corresponding with the Colstrip coaches in the last 2 weeks or so. The Griz coaches want him to attend Junior day and their camps this summer.

Carson King, a junior on last years state runner up Dillon Beavers. Carson was a starter as a sophmore at linebacker for last years most dominate team according to Rocky Erickson. http://www.northernbroadcasting.com/Sports/Headlines/tabid/74/ArticleType/ArticleView/ArticleID/4954/Default.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Carson was Allstate this year as a junior, the Beavers were runner ups in class A for 2012.He led the team with 105 tackles on the year, most of which came in the first half because they had mercy ruled most teams in the first half. In his two games this year against the state champs he averaged over 20 tackles per game.
MSU has already started smooshing him, he does come from a Ranching family, so that does give MSU a little edge, but we have coach Ty as our linebackers coach. It is my goal to get Carson in Maroon. One other note, MSU has been real supportive of LDS kids and their serving missions for the church(Monte Folsom, Ben Folsom etc) That will definatly play a role in where he goes. I would love to see us make a run on this fine young man.

I know you guys are going to bust my ass over this but ask me if i give a f#ck. I was watching this freshman post player for Stevensville last night at the "A" semi-finals hoopty at the Metra. I think his last name was Sims...? Looked to be 6'5" and about 230. Awesome feet for a youngster, and it was evident he's hitting the iron. He has road grader written all over his face. I could see him get pissed a few times and hey... he couldn't knock the guy out because...it's hoopty  I'd pop him a letter now if it's legal. Some dudes just reek with "playa".

Is this weezy?

Jesse Sims, is actually a soph, but yes he is a load he stands 6' 3'' 215 or so. His older sister has commited to play ball for the lady Griz. The Stevensville football team is pretty weak so it is hard to tell how good he really is, but is a stud for sure.

my bad...the M.H.S.A program said "9" in the grade column. I knew you guys would straighten me up fast if I pr*cked this up. I was languishing through hoops but I could see this kid 6'6'' 320 at left tackle for the Griz just b*tch slapping a little kitty d.e. :eatu:

Thanks for the info rim. Yes, don't ever let a kitty fan deter you. They are now the experts in their own minds.

A little history on the manchild

http://m.ravallirepublic.com/news/article_2e33a0e2-1982-5ee2-9eb5-6863fda189df.html

I heard from some AAU hoops sources that he was dunking with ease in 8th grade and playing all over the country on various AAU teams.
