Man, that is a BRUTAL road schedule....And the last 5 games are going to be a bitch.

No kidding, 6 or 7 tough games on that schedule. At least we won't have to hear "you haven't played anyone".

Yep, that's a meat grinder. Hopefully you guys don't get hammered by injuries like we did this year. It's very possible with a tough schedule like that. Kudos for putting NDSU on there. I hope you kill em.

It's a good, not scary, schedule. I like EWU later in the year. With some LB and OL help, we should be tested and ready. Can't wait for Laramie; it's been too long.

I like that there are no non-conference games against Big Sky opponents. 2 years without ISU, that is unusual.

At North Dakota three years in a row is pretty weird, but I like the schedule. Good mix of home and away games with good tough local competition for the out of conference match ups.
So last year (2013) we made two trips to Sacramento. This year we make two trips to Fargo/Grand Forks. Some effed up scheduling.

Fullerton's Magic 13....

Way to go athletic department, two meaningless games with Wyoming (unless Griz pull upset) and Central Washington (unless Griz get upset) so that is two games that don't help with making playoffs if an at large berth is needed.

If the Griz beat Wyoming it will help them but be serious about their chances the Griz have the same coaches returning that could not beat a playoff caliber opponent the past two seasons or lead the Griz to a complete game in all three phases (and questionably even one phase) for all four quarters. These are still the same coaches who thought it would be a good idea to pull punt coverage back in one game and kick off both halves in another game along with other infamous blunders.

While beating Central Wash does nothing positive and the Griz starters will not be pulled at first quarter like their Panhandle game. Should the Griz get upset like they almost did a few years back by CW then postseason is not likely.

Are the athletic department and coaches seriously trying to help Engstrom (FU BEEATCH!!!) bring the program down.

Actually a D2 game carries more weight now than it did previously. The system is more like FBS, the game counts record wise but it can bite you in the butt in the computerized poll by wrecking SOS.

I'd rather have them earlier. They are rolling right now, and they usually do that late

I thought I read or heard that the FCS Playoff Selection Committee was not using the 7 FCS or FBS wins to qualify for the playoffs this year?

I think the 7 wins number will still be pretty important in team evaluation.
