Anyone know if the bear spotted inside WAGRIZ on 05/03/13 is part of some video shoot for this upcoming season? Or did a bear really find it's way into WAGRIZ some how? It would be cool as hell, if they used a real bear in a few videos. Better yet, cage one up for the sidelines.
Good grief ! Yes, a bear "found his way" into Washington Grizzly Stadium. They're everywhere here you know. Better be careful when you leave the big city mate ! :geek:

Zoo guy I am pretty certain no in fact positive MtGrizrule is used to bear. I know as we both grew up in the Grizzly Bear Corridor. You not being a geek I am sure know where that area is!

I can't wait to see this video! If they got a bear like Tank in there roaming the feild that would be kick ass. Picture a video from past to present with a ghostly image of a Griz walking the feild mixing between players and coaches. Video end present time with Griz walking the side line then caption of 2013 Griz footbal year of the Grizzly! Kick ass..
OrgonGriz corridor, mtgrizrule is the one who posted the stupid arse comment, "Or did a bear really find it's way into WAGRIZ some how?" Not me. Now i don't know about you, but if you two are so damn bear aware living in the (Ha!) "corridor", then you tell me about how a bear might haps to "find its way" into the stadium? Silly wabbit ! You better sharpen your skills ! I LIVE IN GRIZ country everyday Pal. Since when is Oregon, griz country? Now ya got me laughing!! Schoolboy

Zoo "haps" WTF is that, I happens? I may live in Oregon now for work. However mate I grew up in T Falls lived in MT most my life and been all over that area in the Cabinets. So because you moved to Montana Mate does not make you an expert. Yes there is an area called the Grizzly Bear Corridor maybe you should look into it before you spout your yap. True a Griz wandering into WaGriz may be crazy. However have you ever heard of a coyote being on a public train. Would you believe it? It's true. Or howabout 5 point bull hit on a 6 lane hwy. Odd animal incounters happen every day, Schoolboy..

Zoo guy, we both grew up in Western Montana. Sorry if I did not take the time to get your approval or ask you how a bear could have got onto the field? I was not thinking of that at the time. I thought it was pretty damn cool to see on our field. However, it is possible one could have gotten in there. The fence is open now and then. Also, I do know if a bear wants to get to something bad enough it can. We spend a lot of time after winter taking customer complaints and claims, of bears doing property damage. Feel free to youtube some videos of bears damaging fences, breaking through doors, destroying metal trash containers (which are called bear proof), etc.

So just because someone does not live in Montana, does not mean they are not familiar with bears, or Western Montana. By that logic, someone who just moved to Western Montana knows more than someone who spent 18 plus years of their life there. Sounds like you did not think out your thinking either before posting. :thumb:

I live on Seeley Lake. Am born and raised in Missoula. I am retired. Spent a life-time doing it. Not reading about it. No, no bears "might" get into the stadium because the fence is open. City boy

Oh I also lived in the Flathead area. Lived out near Swan Lake hunted up in the Condon area. But hey I live in Oregon so therefore an a city boy even though my place is 20 miles from nearest town. Have a small Local store we shop at where you can buy anything from a pair of Danners to movie rentals. So big time city boy. :argue: we can leave it that zoo.

I'm talking about a REAL griz. I know that no griz players would shit in WGS. Although the last 2 times the Cats were there it looked like they did.
Then you guys must have had a sever intestinal problem when you wanted to be #1 but we made you #2

Ha ha ha!!!!!!! Love it! :thumb:

If one can get into a secured junk yard or land fill, they can get into WAGRIZ. I do agree likely not to get on the field though barring someone really out of the ordinary. The metal fence surrounding WAGRIZ would be no problem for a bear, if one wanted to get inside. No reason to get inside though.

It could be said that the way the griz played last year there was plenty of garbage in WGS.

Kind of mouthy for a dbag who is about 36 games BELOW .500 since say ...! 1982.. :loser:

Doubt this would happen... but could you imagine a 8 foot grizzly leading the team out of the tunnel!!!!

It'd be a fun way to see band kids running for the stands!

Had it said to me once "he that lives in the past will fail in the future". The person that said that was a hell of a good coach. I was glad to see him leave the griz. As a Cat fan I want to forget the past. Yes the griz have kicked our a$$. Just goes to show what a few poor coaching hires can do to a program. I like to live in the present and learn from the past. It should be a very interesting season for both programs and I hope it all comes down to the CAT-griz game for the championship.

"Has to catch a Bobcat to eat a Bobcat to shit a Bobcat. Can't say I ever seen that happen"

Hmmm... seems for sure you are a MSU booster who never got beyond basic grammar. Epic Bobcat posting FAIL.

"the way the griz played last year"...you brought up the "past"...just saying... :egriz:

If there really was a bear in Wa-Griz, the bear had better be in a pre-game video!

The bear is not there for anything having to do with UM football. National Geographic is filming something. Check Missoula.com. I have a buddy who works for Grizzly Creek Films out of Bozeman and was posting photos on Facebook as they were setting up inside the stadium last Tuesday and wednesday

Was in the Zoo this weekend and spoke to a person in the know of some details. As reported Brutus the well known acting bear was there for NatGeo, however in exchange there is to be some footage made available to the University for marketing. Who knows what department or how it will be used but given what they can do with video I'm sure some cool things could be done.
