Sorry if I missed something obvious.

The thing you missed that is obvious is that Mick signed a two-year contract and UM is not the kind of institution that pays two coaches - well, unless the President feels the need to make a statement to appease the female faculty and the Missoulian.

We will be as lucky to have Mick in 2013 as we are in 2012. He will create the right environment for the new guy to succeed in 2014, starting with Wyoming. Unless they extend Mick after he wins the 2013 NC...

We have a coach. This isn't the time to be talking about a new coach as there are other undecided matters at UM such as sanctions and the possibility of an exit from Engstrom. Let's give our support to Mick and his staff as they are working hard on behalf of our university and doing a very good job, especially considering the situation when they assumed the responsibility.

I think just the opposite. I believe Mick FULLY intends to coach through the 2013 season. I would be willing to make a big wager to anyone interested that says he does NOT hang it up after this season.

Mick was actually after a three year contract. He loves the job and so does his wife.

Didn't see her on Root Sports, she must be a position coach. Secondary, by any chance?
