I understand 6-4 Deion Lane from Independence HS in Charlotte NC is on an official visit to Missoula/UM this week end. He averaged 12 points 7 rebounds. A little under sized but VERY athletic and physically mature.

Thanks Mslacat. I have been waiting to hear something about recruiting. I made the assumption when not much has been discussed is that we are looking at someone from Australia or Europe. No facts but a feeling that I have because of how quiet it has been.

Ironic, he is from the mid atlantic, and we are hosting App State this weekend. It would be great to land a recruit from that area. Very rich in talent in that area.

This could be a very sweet pipeline for the GRIZ in Basketball, just like the Bellevue Pipeline we have in football. A friend of mine in NoCal has seen this kid, and feels he would be a great get for the GRIZ. His stock will surely raise this coming basketball season. Here is to hoping Wayne closes the deal before the season starts. :thumb:
