2012 Shrine game rosters... more recruits?

Talked to a buddy of mine this morning who watched Dillon play Helena Capital is basketball last night. He said that Dillon is probably the most athletic team in the state in any class. He sain Linder is a very good athlete, but that Wes Knox is maybe the most athletic player in the state. Don't know if he was a great football player, but that was interesting to hear.

Linder is visiting Carroll right now, but sounds like a lean to be a preferred walkon at UM. Knox will play basketball in the frontier.

Added three Rocky signers...

VanZee, Walk and White

Chinook's Jorrell Jones just signed with Northern to wrestle. He had offers for football from most Frontier schools. Though I love wrestling, it kind of sucks that Ben Stroh is so good at it. He would have made a hell of a linebacker in the Big Sky Conference. I've been watching that kid since eighth grade and he's an absolute animal at everything he does. For anyone who never got to see him play football, you really missed out. He was fun to watch on both sides of the ball!

Baker's Varner will be a Light. His oldest brother was a 3x all conference safety at Northern and another brother, Tanner is a starting corner for the Lights. As for the two Havre High kids, DeVries' older brother is a sophomore o-lineman at Carroll, but Joey is somewhat smaller so I'm not sure what kind of offers he's looking at. Casey Schaub is a stud, has a standing full-ride offer from Northern. He could also end up wrestling though. I think Northern has a good shot to get Allen from Fairfield and and the Malta kids too.

One more player I sincerely hope the Griz are looking at, at least as an athlete is J.T. Linder from Dillon. Athletically, he is amazing. He could be a stud WR or safety for the Griz and I would hate to see the Cats get him. The Livingston kid was probably the fastest player I saw this season. The kid can flat out fly. He might be a walk-on type for the Bobcats. I've seen Clint LaRowe play the last two years in Havre. He was a man among boys in Class A. Actually, the last two year's it's been amazing how big Miles City's lines have been. They were huge for Class A. Also got a chance to see Bo Harris play once. He's a beast.

I agree with Havre fan......I traveled to most Beaver Games this year......T.J. would be a great catch.

ILB Zeke Koslosky Dillon 6-1 230, will be a saint.

C Dan Morstein Dillon 6-2 275, apparently got some kind of offer to be a saint too but is leaning toward walking on @ UM. Rumorville, so who knows.

Still no word on Linder. Sounds like he's going to hold out until the last minute.

AJ Wilson and Joe Coker of Capital both going to Western. State Co-MVPs in AA on defense along with Ecord.

Just to let you know... on this list I take posters at thier word because a lot of these kids never get posted in an online paper or a recruiting site. So if you know that the player is verballing/signed with a team just post it and I will add the info... thanks.

Interesting. I would have thought A.J. Wilson, 6'2" 205 lbs. OLB out of Helena Capitol, would have been looked at by the Griz since he was an AA Defense MVP this past season.

More Western signers...

Miles City's Tyrell Hess committed to Northern tonight.

Edit: From what I've been told, Varner has not signed on the dotted line as he's waiting to hear if the Cats will give him a preferred walk-on.

Dillon Fraley Bigfork offered preferred walk-on at MSU. He is visiting Bozo this weekend. Offered partial and academic scholarship at Carroll. Most likely going to Carroll.

Its official

DL Luke Halliburton Glacier 6-0 215 (Cats)

Very Hard worker and a workout machine... Cats got a good one.

JT Linder committed to Carroll (said so on twitter)...Good get for the saints

Also Cody Dobbs (Big Fork running back) is coming to MSU as a walk-on. I dont know much about him if any of you guys know anything about him feel free to share.

Dopps is a very good Athlete... 4 sport Track, Basketball, Baseball and Football.
He played RB at Bigfork and scored 5 TD's in a game against Eureka.

6'1 190
Class B All-state player
Had over 2000 all pur-pose yards and 25 TD's

DAMN! I think the Griz screwed up in not offering Linder, unless they did an he picked CC over UM. I imagine Linder will get a shot at QB at CC, which obviously he wouldn't have played UM. This double sucks for me. Not only will he not be a Griz, but now he'll be directly haunting Northern for 3-4 years.

Well, the bright side of it all is that he isn't going to be a boobscat.

His last name is Dopps. He is a good athlete. I helped him with his highlight video. I think he could play db or safety.
