My predictions you've brought up were before Pflu got fired and JJ was expelled. The Griz would have easily been 11-0 in 2012 based on last years cat-Griz and playoff run. Even with the ridicules turmoil in 2012 we're an onside kick away from a shot at the playoffs.

When your "fabulous" cat team loses to the WORST Griz team ever what will you say?? Let me guess............"at least we still have the playoffs".......... At that point we will witness a team that shouldn't be there let the state clearly know who should've been there..................

That team being Montana, a team that consistently owns the playoffs and finally had their 1 in 30 bad luck year.......enjoy it until next year......FTC

isnt it fun to see how the usual bottom feeders do when they have a few DECENT seasons lol...they act like they are world beaters ...CAT FANS, its been a few DECENT seaons, and not even a GREAT one yet...calm down, try and make the semis or beyond more than one time...then and only then can you tlak shit...and try to contiune that sorta run for a decade or more. funny to see how the griz have a tough season and you fuckers some how are out in full force...its kinda sad

They might have had inaccurate posts, but that's the point of digging up this old thread - to show that yours are no more accurate than Cat fans. Why should we believe you this time?

I did forget the importance of a head coach masterminding the entire program ie the offense and defense and the special teams. I missed that completely. I take full credit for thinking the Griz would do far better than we did. OUCH!

Minus one really key ingrediant...a top level quarterback. All UM quarterbacks now have some good qualities, but none seem to have the entire package. You need the general on the field as well as the sidelines. If Johnson is able to come back, then I put the griz right back at the top of the heap. Each QB now is "dual" threat (TM is run/keep, SSH is handoff/pass). JJ was "triple" threat (run/keep/throw) with a dose of the intangile field general quality.

Regular season record: 11-0

Okay realistically I can see this season going 9-2 or even 8-3 but as usual we have a great shot at beating every team on this schedule and an excellent shot at making our 19th trip to the playoffs in the last 20 years. While I respect South Dakota, Liberty and SUU they will be in our house and with nearly a 90% home winning percentage VERY rarely teams come out with a W.

App. State is going to be an extremely tough game. We will finally be on the other end of the stadium spectrum and App. still has to have an awful taste in their mouth from losing to us in the semis with their second coming A.E.

Eastern, North Dakota, Northern Arizona and Weber we should beat but I could see an upset in their most likely coming from eastern or weber.

ISU and NC are very winnable.

If MSU can't make it a game in their house with Akpla they should get beat by a experienced JJ in WaGriz but you never know in this game.

I have hope that this team will feed off of all this pre-season bullshit and come out with a fire lit under their asses and prove to be one of the best teams we have ever had. The talent is there. Let's do this.
