2011 NCAA Tournament Projection - SI.com

This has UM playing the overall no. 1 seed Pitt--in Cleveland. Long Beach St is also a no. 16 seed. UCLA is a no. 8 seed. But first, UM has to take care of business and make the tournament.

The dreaded play-in game......

I wouldn't give it much credibility, they have Coastal Carolina as a #15 seed from the Big Sky

Don't see St. John's as a number four seed at this point either. I don't see Montana in a play-in game situation. The win against UCLA will keep us from being in the play-in situation if we make it. We also don't have nearly as bad of losses as some of the teams he has on the seed lines in front of us.

A side note to ESPN's Bracketology. If you look deeper we are the highest 15 on the S-curve which means we could be a spot away from a 14.

If you are in the play-in game and win, do you get the TV credit? Heck, if you get into that game it is your best chance for a win and you can say you went 1-1 in the tourney and get money for your conference.

You do get a TV game but if you win you do not get the money or unit as they are known. Units are only awarded to the winners of games from this year's second round on.
