Dispite seemingly filling all of his open scholarships for next year here are the names of four 2006 high school seniors that I have heard the last couple weeks are being recuited by the Griz for the Spring recruiting period.

Derek Glasser 6-2 guard Marina Del Ray (CA) Artesia HS (also being recruited by Southern Cal, Richmond, Cal. Irvine, and Stanford)

Louis Barraza 6-4 Combo Guard Phoenix (AZ) Trevor Browne HS (Wyoming, Idaho, and Oregon)

Tyler Smith, 6-foot-4 Guard, Nevada Union HS (?)

Joe Harden, 6-5 SR SG/SF Stockton (Calif.) St. Mary's HS (U C Santa Barbara, Notra Dame, and USC)

Of them Barraza is very high on the Griz. The coaches have or will have had an at home visit with him shortly. He has also commited to a UM campus visit. He is averaging about 18 points, 9.5 rebounds and five assists per game and shooting 55 percent from the field, 39 percent from behind the three-point line.

The only question might be where is the scholarship coming from.

Thanks for the info Mslacat. Louis Barraza is a Junior in HS this year, so that would be for 2007 (if what I'm reading is correct). Also, about where the scholarship would come from... I read your post on BCNation about the 'gentlemen's agreement', and I reaaaally hope that source was wrong :( Anyway, thanks again for the great info on Griz BB recruits!
