So, who is going to watch the game on 1/2/2005, Rocky Mountain College?

Students all gone. Holiday when a lot of people go away on vacation. A team that the Griz should beat by a huge score and not much of an attendance draw.

Gonzaga is real early in the season. Maybe Krysko can get our players ready faster than Gonzaga's this early. Maybe an upset?

Also, I notice they do not have the holiday tournament this year. That's kind of dissappointing because I thought last years was kind of fun to watch.

True- I'll be at the 1/2/5 RMC game. I trust you'll be there too. It is a shame the GRIZ have to go to Gonzaga again. We must have a 2 for 1 home and home arrangement with them. I think the tournament will return when attendance rebounds (which I hope begins to happen this season!)

The last two games are @ Western Kentucky on Nov. 27th and @ Stanford Dec. 23rd. Might have to spend a week of December in California :D

Gonzaga wanted UM to play in the opening game of the new Kennel.
Pat Kennedy balked because he did not want to play in Spokane two years in a row. PK made a mistake IMHO. The Griz are one of GU's oldest rivalries; it would have been something for the kids to remember. As it turned out, the Griz play the Zags in the Kennel anyway, four days after Portland State get the honor of playing in the opener. According to posts on zaghoop.com, the Zags want to continue the series and probably will play in Missoula the following year.

It must be tough to schedule games...does UM need to play Western, GF, Tech and Rocky? I can see Joe Kusek getting ready for his next article that UM is ducking MSU-B.
