Why the hell is San Diego playing in the PFL and where do they get the money for their travel budget? Their schedule shows trips to New York, Florida, Massachusets, Indiana and North Carolina. Is this a team that might be interested in the Big Sky? I believe they were in the discussion when we expanded but every one of their conference games jumps over our conference completely. Honestly, Drake is the closest school and it's in Iowa. Just curious if anyone has any information on why this is and why they aren't with us in the Big Sky.

Its the closest conference that has a needs based scholarship policy

Small Catholic school that doesn't give out schollies for football, which means joining the Big Sky is additional 120+ total schollies.

Honestly the Pioneer needs to be DIII, or the NCAA needs to allow programs to have basketball as DI even if everything else isn't, similar to hockey.

Possibly the most beautiful campus setting next to Pepperdine on the planet, BTW. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:
