The eligibility clock starts as soon as you enroll as a full-time student (12 or more credits). It does not start if you enroll as a part-time student (11 or less credits). Hence, that is why grey-shirt clocks do not not start, or clocks for anybody else that is a part-time student.

Okay, I've been quiet about this up to this point, but there's got to be a few guys that are not coming back that we don't know about. I know Mick is a fantastic recruiter, but we're getting too many good players for them all to be walk-ons.

Don't be surprised to see a WR or a few not be back. Also a possible DL player, and a CB. I wonder if a QB will be gone too. We shall find out come spring ball.
