$2 million from QB Club for Indoor Practice Facility

"The new Indoor Practice Facility ... got final approval from the Montana Board of Regents late last week. This ...allows us to begin the project! Authority to spend $7.25 million for the entire project was granted. Fundraising has been great for this project as evidenced by the approval to move forward. A generous $2 million commitment from QB Club played a vital role in that. Thank you does not seem like enough, but THANK YOU to all of our QB Club members. The growth in members and dollars raised has been remarkable and is what allowed Coach Hauck to authorize that commitment. Thank you to all of our members both new and long standing. I also want to take a minute to thank those QB Club members that also made gifts toward the indoor facitliy that were in addition to their memberships either through supporting special events (fishing trips, auctions, day of giving, etc.) or an outright gift or pledge. ....

There is still a small amount to raise to get us to the goal of $7.25 million. Fundraising will continue until our final goal is reached. ... Our facility masterplanner is working on the final design and beginning to lay out a construction schedule that will be influenced in a positive way by architects and contractors. The goal remains to have this project completed as quickly as possible."

QB Club is awesome. You get gear/swag, dinners, inside info, access to closed practices/events, and more. If you don't live in Missoula there's secure videos where you can hear from the coaches, and even ask questions too. They're pushing to set a new membership amount this year. Please consider it to help the team out!

Billings group meets at The Red Door now and is a good time and worth it.

Coming to the GSA event in May?

UM continues to be a leader in athletic facilities. Is this part of a master plan for a move to a FBS Conference?

As someone who doesn’t live in Missoula. I agree QB club is awesome even if you live out of town. The weekly meetings are something I look forward to.

Hope you get it built! Better facilities raises the profile of the conference.

NAU just opened up a new $47 Million Student-Athlete High Performance Center.

A large portion of the new center is the 11,500-square-foot Jennifer Marie Wilson Strength and Conditioning Center, which includes warm-up turf, plyometric space and 21 Sorinex weight rack stations.

A one-of-a-kind lab space — the Sims-Treharne Collaborative Research Lab — is a collaboration between NAU Athletics and the Health and Human Services Department that allows for real time research between faculty, students and student-athletes.

“NAU will use student athletic fees to fund new facility” from the October 11, 2019 jackcentral.org article written by Molly Brown. 29,000 students paying $150 mandatory athletic fee and you don’t have to privately fund these projects. Wouldn’t that be cool!

One advantage of having 29K on campus!
