I know Coach Stitt does not give out much info about injuries, and I totally understand why he doesn't, so are his 2-deeps just a smoke screen?

So far under Stitt, the 2 deep has to be taken with a grain of salt. For example, Logwood has been listed as the 2nd RB all season, but didn't see action until Game 4. In terms of injuries, I believe both Harris & Crittendon were listed as starters, but neither played, although Crittendon was out for the coin toss in full gear. I think Stitt prefers to keep everything as secret as possible, which I cant necessarily blame him.

Big Sky teams like Davis and EWU have been hit by the injury bug a LOT worse than us. I don't know if they did two a days or not, but I would assume so.

“It’s the darndest thing,” UCD head coach Ron Gould says of his team’s rash of recent injuries.
As was the case in 2014, when seven defensive starters missed a total of more than 2,400 minutes of playing time (contributing mightily to a 2-9 campaign), the injury bug is back.
Out for this season are cornerbacks Shamawn Wright (foot), Isiah Olave (ankle) and safety and team captain Keleen Culberson (ACL).
Up-and-coming freshman safety Ryan Parenteau will miss at least the Montana game, according to Gould, and linebackers Ryan Bua and Artice Nelson — both with foot injuries — have required surgery and are on the sidelines for what looks like the rest of the fall.
At a time where all hands on deck is crucial, even the offense is reeling.
Running backs Justin Williams (groin) and Joshua Kelley (injury undisclosed) won’t go and wide receivers Alex Cannon (ankle) and Brandyn Lee (Achilles) will be missing Saturday, reports the coach.
