Basketball recruits, that is. Let's make sure these recruits have the time of their life this weekend!!

By way of avid MSU Bobcat booster Robert D Robinson (aka: mslacat), via twitter feeds, two 3-star prep standouts are on the UM campus this weekend as guests of the Montana Grizzlies basketball team.

Shooting guard Sayeed Pridgett of El Cerrito H. S. in Oakland, CA and 6-5 small forward Alphonso Anderson from Garfield H. S. in Tacoma, WA are making official campus visits. Each is pegged as a three-star recruit on VerbalCommts.com.

Pridgett, a 6-5 shooting guard, received a composite ranking of 46 (average of scout, rivals & ESPN) from VerbalCommits http://www.verbalcommits.com/players/sayeed-pridgett while Anderson http://www.verbalcommits.com/players/alphonso-anderson is the 41st-ranked small forward by Verbal Commits.

It was almost exactly a year ago when Montana coach Travis DeCuire got a VC from high-profile prep player, Michael Oguine, of Chaminade Prep in north L.A., who joined two other frosh recruits -- 6-7 power forward Jared Samuelson from Billings West H. S. and 6-6 wing Bobby Moorehead from Tacoma's Stadium H. S.

make sure you tell them the truth. the only reason this is a big game is because ndsu is here. if ndsu isnt here , espn isnt here. and thats the sad truth. They have four championships in eight years of fcs elegibility. we have two in thirty years.

I call BS on this. Montana has had great success with games on ESPN in the past. Our facilities and tradition our superior to most FCS programs in the country. As long as it was a top FCS coming to town....good chance that this would still be the kickoff game.

Really? Then why was ESPN at Sam Houston last year when EWU played to open the season?
