There could always be a thread or a tabbed gallery at that eGriz place. I think they get more fan traffic than gogriz anyways and I hear it's pretty easy to post there :thumb:

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Idaho was a top-10 team in the late eighties or early nineties. Which would explain the national coverage.

Early 80s. Taking a look at historical records it looks like the 81-82 season most likely. They had some very impressive wins and started out the season 12-0 against D1 opponents. Lost to the Griz in Missoula for their first loss of the season. Then dropped a game to Notre Dame after that. Didn't lose another regular season game after those 2.

They were a 3 seed in the Western bracket of the NCAA tournament that year. Won their first round game against the 6 seed. Lost their 2nd round game against 2 seed Oregon State (who they had beat earlier in the year on a neutral court 71-49).

They finished with a 27-3 record. The previous year I'm guessing they got some top 25 attention too. Finished with a 25-4 record and a 7 seed.
