I think he is Robbie Hauck. I believe he is up for Freshmen defensive football player of the year in the FCS.

Think about that for a minute. The Griz have now had 2 players nominated for FCS Freshman player of the year. Jensen last year and now Hauck. It’s a rarity for Freshman to make an impact, let alone in back to back seasons for the same team.

Besides the long trick pass to the TE, when else did he get beat on a pass? I can't recall.

Why hate on #17? How about considering that DBs can only cover for so long? The lack of a consistent pass rush and qb pressure is the main problem. For the record, I feel #17 and his DB group do their job very well when they get the proper help from the pass rushers.

Kind of ironic, we are bitching about a kid who is among the best freshman in the nation. Trust me, the problem is not him.

I’m a little concerned that this kid may not get a fair shake. The fact that Stitt’s staff talked to the kid may not do him any favors. Sort of like “reverse Daddy-ball discrimination.” While they may not have offered him because they didn’t see him as D-1 material :roll:, I hope the new staff treats him fairly. :thumb:
