ISU... The Eastern and State. This could mean a 4 loss slide to end the season. Offense looked slow as hell compared to PSU. It was a little depressing. The weather really fits the team's performance.

I have to say, seeing the Portland skyline and the gray rain, I am glad I live where I do....
This is the price we pay for our amazing forests. Today was harsh though. On the way home from the game, people on the roads slowed down because of the rain. That doesn't usually happen in Oregon. :D

GG, Montana! You have an awesome fanbase.

ISU will definitely get a Christmas card from Portneuf Medical Center's Surgical Department. Even as inept as the Griz played today, the should win in Holt. After that, however....

have you seen the Cat defense?
No way you dont score a bunch on us, the question is can our offense score enough so that game has to be at least a toss up right now.

Observations from eversport and north of the border.

1. Happy Halloween, nothing tonight will scare me like that did.
2. Simis is learning but looked every inch the 3rd stringer in his second start.
3. There is no point running a 4 receiver set when don't throw a single throw to one of your slots. Employing a full time tight end or a FB for short yardage would be more productive.
4. O-line is a position for aggressive men
5. One of our corners can not tackle or cover, he is the size of Tru but the comparison should stop there.

We will run the table from here but might start the Play-offs on the road

God these homer announcers are dbags.

Single worst broadcast of the year

I think the broadcast is ok for what it is. It's a bottom dollar deal with the home radio broadcast grafted to the "Vik Vision" (or whatever they call it) video. It's ok and I don't think the radio guys are any more homers than Mick and company.

Yeah, but Mick and company are our homers.

I only caught the Cowles crew once this year, and actually thought they provided a pretty well-balanced commentary. That said, I don't think bringing on the immediately previous coach (who doesn't sound like he really feels like he left on his own terms) was a good plan. The one guy today reacted like they had won the national championship. I also chuckled at the repeated explanation that, if the Vikings didn't intercept, it was because Simis was throwing at them and they didn't expect it. That was just stupid.
