On our final drive we picked up three or four first downs and then went into victory formation and ran out the clock

Ain't the "v-form" great!

And no matter how ugly the second half seemed, the Griz gutted out a win. And one more point: No matter what the "experts" said about the Griz being favored ... SDSU was a damn good team. They were top-10 in the final poll, missing a seed because of their late loss. During the season, they were as high as top-5. Top-5, top-10 teams come back ... and, give them credit, they did. Fortunately, the Griz withstood the flurry. That's not "rose colored glasses" (IMO), that's the reality -- the Griz faced a really good team and still pulled off a win.

Going to be a challenge against NDSU at the Fargodome, need to be firing on all cylinders for four quarters.

Penalties almost cost the Griz the game. From bonehead personal fouls and unsportsmanlike conducts to lining up offsides, these are things that are completely in control of the team. Get it together! These mental mistakes nearly ended the season. They will end the season next week if they are repeated.

I am still happy to scoot out with a win. Go Griz! Beat the Bizon!

Didnt' want to make a separate thread for this but SUU just got screwed. SHSU defender tackled the receiver before the ball got there and no flag. SUU punts. Not the best day for reffing methinks.

You coaches have a lot of f$&king work to do. 130 yards in penalties. To be that thoroughly out played after the great half. I get that it's a W, but that kind of effort ain't going to get you anything but hammered in the Fargo shed.

Woah don't thank a Nguyen on egriz. Don't you know he muffs every punt, fumbles the ball at least 4 times a game, and never breaks a tackle due to his size

Ya, for all the flack he's taken, his defense just held a team that score 30+ per game to 17. Hope he stays but understand why he would go. I have a healthy respect for coach Ty

Numbers, and the polls, say they are good. But sometimes, for reasons that no one can explain, a particular team will just seem to have a hex on another particular team -- looks like the case with UM vs SDSU.
