Embarrassing that every time the Griz are losing the fan base screams "holding"

No one has talked about holding since like the 1st quarter, maybe early 2nd

I only scream "holding" when I can see it from my recliner and the ref standing 6 feet away looking directly at the offending player chooses not to call it. Couldn't care less what the score is at the time.
They're just not as good of actors as Lider. Notice that NDSU didn't get any where near the punter this time.

Hardest thing to comprehend. ...NDSU has a better program (their success and this years improvements with a lot of young kids showed that)...yet they do all this playing in a crappy dome and players having to live in North Dakota. Boggles my mind

The harsh reality is most people have never read the college definition of holding

they don't necessarily have to live in North Dakota.......

Congrats Griz on a good year. No doubt you guys are on the rise. Who knows if your QB isn't injured during the season how many wins you would have had. Safe travels to all who came to the game.

Jackass Engstrom in a Griz letter jacket on the Griz sideline in the Fargodome. That doesn't help matters. We all hate Engstrom!
Hate is not a word an educated adult should use.
An educated adult wouldn't tell people what they can and can't say.

Educated people often tell people like you what they can and can't say.

Congrats to the Griz on a great season. Gotta say as a Bison fan that I had a great time out in Missoula in August in spite of my team losing, certainly enjoyed interacting with your fans and the atmosphere was electric. For those of you that made it to the game today, how would you say that atmosphere compared to WaGriz?

Definitely glad the Bison got another shot at the Griz today, and this time on our turf. I've read quite a bit of this thread and it seems every one is coming down pretty hard on Gus. But frankly, that kid was under duress all day long, and you couldn't get the run game going at all. The Bison made the Griz pretty one dimensional and that isn't a good position to be in. I've seen some mention of the trenches, that's where this game was won or lost. I think some sort of adjustment was made in the 3rd quarter when you guys put that drive together and made it look pretty easy. Were the Bison not blitzing or did you have someone other than Nguyen back there helping block for Gus? Credit to your defense, I think they did pretty well against our offense today. Pretty hard to keep playing inspired football when the scoreboard keeps showing 6 points late in the game.

Not here to gloat or troll like that other Bison "fan" on here, just wanted to offer congratulations on a good season, thanks for a great opening game, and keep your heads up...you are Montana and I have a ton of respect for your program.

Good showing by your fans in the dome today, they made noise early, and gave a nice salute to your team and seniors on their way out.

The harsh reality is that there were about 4 early blatant holding calls that were not called that would have significantly altered NDSU drives in the first half.

Noticed in the post game interview that the O line telegraphed the play before the snap all game. Sounds like a mannerism that should be instantly corrected. Never make it easy for the other guys!

I regret using the word hate relative to Engstrom. Such a strong passion should be reserved for ISIS and their ilk. Jackass, incompetent, idiot, etc. are more appropriate descriptors for Engstrom.

Thank you for suggesting clarification.

Well... Good season Griz! ...Well, sort of.

Actually, you are selling your season way short! For everything that this season represented...new coach, new QB, new...everything almost, to go 7-4 in the regular season and to win a playoff game... VERY well done. Congrats on an overachieving season, next year you can expect far more! Nice year!!!

Not to get into the whole holding thing because there is holding on every play, but the one by the NDSU sideline where the guy had two handfuls of stretched jersey and was holding him back right by the play...that was a little obvious. Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder would have both made that call.

Even us diehards didn't expect this win by this margin. Was fun seeing a few Griz fans at tailgate and at old Broadway tonight.

A scat fan talking about December football is the definition of "out of your depth".

Cat griz bullshit aside.... you guys are definitely out of your depth here. You guys have been inconsistent at best all year and now it's being exposed

You've gotten all that out of one possession each?

You'll see... you could see this coming from a mile away.
