:o :o Tough ticket for the first two sessions. I will go down and observe first hand how many bodies are in the building. If all of those people show up for the Pittsburg and Pacific game it may be a little hard to steal that lap top again and report in first hand. As things progress tickets will become availiable if anybody has an urge to attend Sat. Get those brackets filled out and enjoy the moments. :o :o

LET US ALL HOPE, more than 1500 show up to see the Montana vs. Washington Game, or this will be shades of Portland all over again!

And we ended up winning in portland, didn't we? I wouldn't mind that result again.

Somehow i'm thinking that 1500 people will be there; heck, there will be that many east coast reporters there hoping that washington loses "because they didn't deserve the #1 seed".

The chance that Boise will host a sub-regional again will certainly depend on more than 1,500 fans to show up.

Having a sub-regional in Boise isn't an accident. They've supported past subs very well. Tis gonna be a tough ticket.

The last three times it was here there have always been around 10k at the first session. It should gradually fill up as more people get off from work. So don't worry about another Portland :D

Go Griz!

I would have to say that a school like UW with over 40,000 students is going to bring more than 1500 fans. There will probably be a few Griz supporters around but a majority of the fans will be Huskies. Probably about a 7 or 8 to 1 ratio. Maybe 1000 Griz fans with about 7000 or 8000 UW fans. The rest will be locals who will probably get behind the Griz if they can keep it close.

It seems like most people have absolutely no idea how tickets to the NCAA tourney are obtained. I would imagine it's similar to when Spokane hosted the first round of the NCAA tourney.
Back in September, the citizens of Boise were given an opportunity to enter a lottery to obtain tickets for the NCAA tourney, and the lucky participants had the chance to buy tickets. The event was sold out long before anyone had any idea who would be in the tourney or playing in Boise. A small alotment is held aside for the schools, and that usually goes to the bands and the bigwig donors.
So, it's not going to be piles of Huskies fans, unless the citizens of Boise happen to like the University of Washington, or Seattle spawlers made the decision to travel to Boise and watch the game in September, when they had no clue who would be in. As for the rest of us, we either should have bought our tickets to Boise when we had no clue who would be in, get in good with the AD, or try the scalpers.
