So, a quick perusal of their roster, they have two Freshman at 6'11. Tallest upper classman is 6'10". I would think a Big 10 team is going to be a big banging team, but maybe I am wrong. Anyone have any info on them or what we can expect?

I have watched them play a few times. They seemed to be the usual Big 10 team. They play well inside, rebound, good d, don't necessarily light the score board up..

;) fun fans, bellyachers who sound like kittens that are always getting screwed

Very slow paced team that does not turn the ball over. Like to shoot the three ball so will be vital to slow them down there. Very good defensive team. They don't allow teams to take a lot of them. Solid at guarding down low as well.

Bo Ryan and Wisconsin run a pretty deliberate offense. They play good defense and shoot well from three. They're pretty similiar to the Griz!
This a winnable game!

Watched them play Michigan state and they jumped out big early on, 20-9 and then MSU wore them down and shut down the outside shot. They were down by 10 at the half. Seemed similar to Weber with more heighth inside

another posters in a similar thread mentioned the altitude difference, quite striking between badgerland and NM game site. But as mentioned in this thread the badgers like the deliberate approach, and like to pound it down...so maybe not too big advantage for anyone playing them at altitude.

If, and the big if - we cant get them out of their game into a favorable Griz transition game, and to do that we need to garner some leads to force them to be a bit more aggressive.

I like the matchup, this like UNM of two years ago is a great matchup for us....I think we can do this if we play our game and at minimum control the game at our temp.

they play man...penetration by will, and if they help kick to open shooters....lets hope kareem and derek can knock down some big time shots from deep! one of their fans said they like to shoot the 3 ball, and i love our perimiter D, this is lookin like about as solid of a match up as we could have asked for
