Those sure are nice looking Army uniforms ... of course West Point Graduate Lt. Colonel George Armstrong Custer was wearing a fancy blue and gold and buckskin uniform on June 25, 1876 @ The Battle of Little Big Horn 65 miles SE of Billings. ( I like to point that out to local Bobcats that Custer on that fateful day was also wearing blue and gold, just like their team.) While Confederate generals Robert E. Lee, Stonewall Jackson, and Jeb Stuart all studied and also graduated from West Point, unfortunately for Custer, Sitting Bull, Crazy Horse, Gall and Two Moons did not--I guess they weren't appointed/accepted.

" The Boy General," or at least some of his bones, are buried at his alma mater West Point.

The Marine Corps is in the Department of the Navy. We always referred to it as the Men's Department.

All kidding, rivalry aside, two families will be getting a knock on their door tomorrow they don't want to receive as two US JSOC ( Joint Special Operations Command ) members and their translator were killed today in Syria by ISIS militants. The US service members were most likely Army SF, Navy SEALs, or Marine Raiders.

God bless them and their families. !!!
