15 seasons at Mines. ...1 playoff win yet got the UM job.......Haslam choked

Curious, who were the quality candidates that were passed over? (And don't say Hauck, not because he didn't win, but because the trouble that followed his players didn't mesh with the program direction.)

Jeff Choate?. He WANTED this job BADLY. lol

Ty Gregorak?

This is Coach Stitts record. What are the indications he will perform beyond what he has already proven?

There are none.
There was a belief that he did that with inferior talent due to much higher academic standards and less athletic schollies at CSM. The hope was that given a far more athletically gifted team, he's unique coaching philosophy's would make us something special. I'm still withholding judgment and hoping he'll get this thing turned around. He has certainly brought in talent that is unprecedented here, at least where the rating systems come into play.

Unprecedented talented?? Please. No way.

UNPRECEDENTED??? Thats a joke this is a gross over-exaggeration Bama!

I remember someone making a point about the WR talent he had last year and I dont see any combination of players in the receiver stable that are close to the three we had last season. One can easily argue he under utilized those "dudes" too!

JLM is solid lil player but he reminds me of Naccarato already because he wont stay healthy with his 100% break neck style (which I love) and his undersized frame.

Academic Standards do not automatically coincide with inferior talent. Even schools like Cal Poly have "academic admission waivers" that allows players on the cusp to be accepted. No need to make excuses for a guy that is full of them. He needed to make his adjustment(s) LAST year that he is speaking of making THIS year.

It maybe too late, recruits are turned off by him & his staff because this system doesnt prepare you for the next level nor does it help to develop ones skillset. This offense is HS level - mediocre at best!

Aside from size, they have nothing in common. JLM is at a completely different level in terms of speed and talent.

Well for one thing Van Hagar, those dudes were all Sr's and a Jr. This years guys are all Fr and So except Homan. Also, last year was Gus's first year and I've stated earlier that this O is too complex and the QB has to be Tom Brady every week to win and last year was Gus's first year in the system along with the rest of the O.

Also, excuses aren't a bad thing. They're just the reason something is the way it is.
