How come our coaches do not understand how to utilize a short passing game? They just throw the ball deep all the time. Or how about throwing it to our great tight ends.

I'm as big a Delaney hater there is, but a lot of these plays have shorter routes in them. JJ is just throwing downfield instead. I don't think this particular case is a coaching issue

Wrong. Because its been this way all year stop having most of the routes go deep. Or coach your qb on the plays that there are more underneath routes to take advantage. But we are not running quick outs, slants, and screens.
