114 Yards...

Quite the contrast to the Cats vs Weber game. The Cats shredded the Weber defense for 487 yds. Mellot I think had 249. That was without two starting OL, two top RB, and Chambers due to injuries.

Your defense overall is very good. Bobby needs to get a new OC!
You’re absolutely right. Mellot ALONE outgains the ENTIRE GRIZ OFFENSE by a factor of 2. With the aforementioned missing players on offense. What a joke.

114 yards of total offense is absolutely unacceptable for a group with as much talent and athleticism as this Griz offense.

The OC and today's QB are wasting this team's talent, opportunities, and time. The OC is predictable and risk averse. The QB is indecisive and undisciplined. Together they have managed to disarm the offense and hand over control of the game to our opponents.

Time for this nonsense to stop.

None of this is true...it's not true now, and it wasn't true when the season started. Soooo much Kool aid consumed by maroon colored glasses wearing fans this year. Yes, I bought into the narrative, but in hind sight, there was zero evidence the offense would be elite. Solid RBs DO NOT make a below average o-line look good after all...

I am glad you celebrate Wbers loss at Bozangeles. If the Griz had half the points Weber donated to the bobcats then the Griz ei. Remember the bobcats played Weber at home in conditions that favored the running game.

A running game the Griz don't have, and is required to advance in the playoffs..

I started another thread but should have just posted this here...

173...
That is the average offensive production for the Griz over the last 3 games. There were 4 games in the Big Sky this weekend. 3 of the 8 teams that played today had more yards in today's game than the Griz put up in their last 3 games combined.

I try not to criticize anyone on the team, even coaches, but after watching this team the last couple of weeks, the play calling reminds me of my high school coaches philosophy to 6 man football. Run it up the gut!!!

We had the class C 200 meter dash 3rd place guy as an outside receiver, but coach was enamored with old school football, so, we ran it up the gut, into the middle of the only 6 guys on the field instead of tossing it out to a guy who could simply outrun the two, maybe three guys near him.

Of course, even mentioning we might want to try something else was met with, "when you're the coach, you can call the plays."

I haven't been a fan of Bobby 2.0 at all really. Pre Covid he wouldn't kick FG's, which is something he changed Post Covid, but that's the only improvement I see. He MUST get rid of the OC. I have never been a coach, but played and studied the game as long as I have been able to talk. IF I RAN up the middle on a 3rd and 400, I wouldn't EXPECT to have a job the next day.
