#10 UND Fighting Hawks at South Dakota Coyotes

Some people on this board think it is a wild take that this is going to be a boat race. In my opinion UND has been underrated all season and USD has been overrated all season including this week and the score today is going to reflect that.

Game Preview: South Dakota’s in for a Long Day against the Hawks.

This one’s got blowout written all over it. The Fighting Hawks are peaking at the perfect time — the offense looks unstoppable, the defense is flying around, and there’s a nasty edge in that locker room after hearing all week about how “balanced” South Dakota is. That talk ends today.

Tommy Schuster and company are about to light up the scoreboard. UND’s offensive line has been mauling people lately, and the Coyotes’ front just doesn’t have the depth to hang for four quarters. By the second quarter, expect UND to be rolling in backups — and still moving the ball at will.

Defensively, the Hawks have the speed and discipline to completely shut down USD’s short passing game. That Coyote offense has been sputtering, and now it runs into a defense that doesn’t miss tackles and feasts on mistakes. Turnovers are coming — lots of them.

When the smoke clears, this one won’t be close. UND is deeper, tougher, and hungrier. South Dakota’s about to walk into a buzzsaw.

Prediction:

North Dakota 70

South Dakota 3

The Hawks make a statement and leave no doubt who runs the Dakotas this year.

I admit I had South Dakota overrated and North Dakota underrated coming into the season. North Dakota's first year head coach reminds me of Bobby Hauck/NDSU head coaches. South Dakota losing their star running back mid-season doesn't help.

Well you’ve certainly invested a large amount of time and energy into this one. I assume you’re taking No. Dakota to cover the spread. Good luck 👍

UND defense with a really good goal line stand to keep South Dakota out of the end zone. As long as it doesn't get overturned on review...

70 to 3? Another ridiculous post.
