He moves players from the start of the season to the end and year to year. If the number next to their name is positive they have moved up in his ranking, negative=down, E means they stayed where they were, even.

The story is that he's arguably the best pure RB in this 2020 class out of Montana. He's a natural. I won't speculate on anything else as its unfair to the kid.

Tommy doesn't have the same production or skillset as Carson Rostad but he can throw the football with the best. He showed solid dual-threat ability as a runner his junior season which should help his recruitment as a college QB. Tommy needs to reduce the turnovers and one-read throws his senior season. I thought so as well, but there was something earlier about the best high school QB in Montana (Carson Rostad). And since it's a University of Montana web site I assumed this kid had realized his mistake and was transferring here.

My two what?

Both Rostad and Mellott are very special players, to say the least. Both with be great college players as well, wherever they play.

Both were 4 year HS varsity QB starters.
Both were 3 year All-State QBs.
Both were 4.0 students.

Rostad led team to A Semi-final appearance in 2019.
Mellott led team to AA State Championship appearance in 2019.

Rostad was the Gatorade Player of the Year his JR season in 2018.
Mellott was the Gatorade Player of the Year in his SR season in 2019.
