“Following a 4-1 start to the 2020 season last weekend, Montana sophomore center fielder Brooklyn Weisgram and junior pitcher Tristin Achenbach have been named the Big Sky Conference softball players of the week.”

“Weisgram batted .438 with seven hits, five runs, three RBIs and two stolen bases to lead Montana at the Big Easy Classic in Louisiana. The Missoula native recorded a pair of doubles and two home runs among her seven hits for a .938 slugging percentage.”

“Achenbach posted a 3-1 record and 0.28 ERA in 25 innings pitched over the weekend. The junior from Choteau, Mont., struck out 25 batters while walking just four and allowing 14 hits and one earned run to limit opponents to a .167 average.”
