GFed Stopped by UM

Quit nitpicking details😁
When have we ever let truth and finer details get in the way on egriz bama. I think you meant Gen Z though as those millennials y’all (to use familiar vernacular) complained about for years are all 30-45 years old now. And within about 5 years Gen Alpha will start to take over the social media scene. Gen X is rapidly approaching retirement age. Sure nice of Gen Z to bring back the nostalgia of the mullet, stache, short shorts and tube socks for the older generations😉

As for the stadium, it could use a power wash and paint on some of the exposed concrete areas. Especially that northwest corner.

Power wash, sure. Paint? Once you start painting concrete you'll be painting it forever and in between it looks absolutely crappy.

Should have been more clear. Painting or replacing the Washington Grizzly signage on that outside corner, not all of the concrete. The signage is badly faded from the sun. The concrete is very stained from moisture dripping down especially after wintery snow.

There’s a few aesthetic areas that need some TLC.

How many have wanted to experience various football fields, but couldn't get past the locked gate?
Living in the Phoenix area, I went to Sun Devil stadium in the aftermath of the Pat Tillman fiasco. Impromptu shrine appeared at the gate, which was locked. Same locked gates I found at Autzen Stadium, Husky Stadium, Albertsons Stadium, you name it and its locked. You might have a chance at Holt Arena as they are a little more laid back. What is this guy bitching about?

Truth be damned!

Also, I've never been good at generation names. The important part is i blame everything on those younger than me😁.

The stadium isn't "beat". Jeez, he didn't even get into the stadium. What a dumb comment. By him and by you.
Yeah it was an insanely stupid comment. One thing we could do that would be great is if we replaced that chain link fence surrounding the stadium with say maroon wrought iron decorative fencing.

1. While not everyone is going to agree I assure you that these videos are incredibly important to recruits, transfers, and their family. The vast majority will only make it to Montana once before enrolling (their OV). And facilities show investment, and investment shows ability to develop players and has a direct correlation to winning for various reasons.

2. That said, this guy is an idiot if his whole thing is showing up unannounced. How can you hold that against UM?

3. There is a very good video already out there that I know has been very helpful to at least a few in this current class. What a difference when you plan ahead.

4. I think the stadium and facilities are pretty good, not great... But they do need TLC... Weight room is great, nutrition area is just OK, locker room is good not great, meeting spaces are ok to good. And the indoor, it's sad, even more so when you compare to the teams that are direct competitors. These things matter and get recruits, truly.
Locker rooms are ok?? What would you do to improve them they seem pretty damn nice for FCS and most midmajor schools???

They absolutely do not compare to "most" mid major schools. This is simply incorrect. It's "nice" for FCS yes it is, though the top 5-7 schools are slightly nicer. Or "fine" overall for football, and basic. There's nothing to the locker room, it's just that, and when you want your guys to be hanging out in there it could use a few dollars thrown at it. I've been in plenty of locker rooms, I don't think the goal of the program is to just say this is better than EWU, Idaho, or PSU. Right? Motivation enough should be that the school across State has nicer stuff besides the weight room.

This really isn't that important since there's nothing wrong with the locker room. Everything I say in this forum I am just here trying to give insight to everyone, especially from the perspective of recruits, families, and players in TODAY'S world. Instead of fans and/or donors who just don't know what's important to these guys (because why would you?).

Of course we have yet another person come on egriz to bitch, whine and moan about something. Sounds like of those assholes who live in America but constantly complains about living here. You don't like the fan experience then don't come. And the Griz didn't miss a golden opportunity to showcase anything. Everyone who knows football, knows all about the Griz and our facilities. This has got to be one of the dumbest posts I've read on egriz.
Who the F is Gfed and why would anybody care about (insert pronoun). ??

He's decently popular with kids (high-school and younger) I was introduced to him while I was helping out with coaching about a year or 2 ago (one of the kids was showing off I think his video on USU).
Decently popular…… that’s effin awesome I am going to use that in a meeting next week. I don’t know how but I am gonna figure it out thank you!!!

Tell us the 5-7 FCS schools with nicer locker rooms. Which ones and why...

There are parts of the stadium that need refreshing. Not a lot of money in the scheme of things . This video will, if it not already has land in the the right places. The question being will something get done to make it happen or will the athletic department continue to siphon money off the football program?

Dude has over half a million followers. Definitely doing alright for himself.
Tik Tok followers. the guy has no influence with me. And some of what he said in his video was largely stupid. I know some of the younger crowd likes Tik Tok, but I hope UM isn't having to recruit its players on Tik Tok. I assume X, Insta, text and sites like Hudl are much more important for recruiting.

Should UM brush and shine the stadium or increase the recruiting budget?

He has no influence with you because you're a dusty old boomer who still thinks things are done the way they were when you "played the game" game when, checks notes, Nixon was in office.... Not sure why it is so hard for you to get that this type of stuff is not geared toward you. No offense, but you are not the target demographic for pretty much any UM marketing campaign, and you are not a big enough donor (if you were I'm sure you'd have told us by now) for this stuff to be applicable to you. I get it does not make sense in your narrowminded brain where, if things don't make sense to you they are stupid, but there are in fact things happening around you that are good for UM even if you can't see it that way. Stuff like these videos, while seemingly meaningless to you do in fact have a huge influence on people, well, on the people they are meant for anyway, thus your conundrum. Go do some water aerobics or take a lap.

Yeah because if there is one thing we constantly hear from fans of other schools when visiting for a game in WaGriz it is “This Place Sucks”.

It’s wild to see how uptight a TikTok dipshit can make some people on this page.
