Vim's 2018 Montana High School Football Recruiting List

Vim or Howard or both, Devon Miller out of Northstar, was he close to making either if your lists? Anyone else see him play football? I have not seen him play football (RB/LB per his team roster) but I am watching him play basketball and he seems like a pretty good athlete with decent size.

The Miller brothers (Devon, Dylan, and Dane) are triplets from Gilford, MT and play for the North Star Co-op. Devon and Dylan are on the 6-man All-Star game roster for this summer. This article sheds a little background: http://www.greatfallstribune.com/story/sports/2018/01/28/miller-triplets-brotherly-love-hoops/1073460001/.

I think I saw that article but cant be sure as I have used all of my free Tribune article views. I dont recall the article saying if he has any offers from any schools for any sports. Appreciate you answering! Thanks

I watched all three of the Miller bros play, and and if Vim and I would have done a top 100 list, I think they would have made that. I think they should get a shot at NAIA somewhere

Rocky gets the 2017 AA Heavyweight State Wrestling champ and 1st-Team All-State DT from Kalispell Flathead. The kid is strong as an ox.

I ranked him in the Top 40. Thought he was PWO worthy. Played high but nearly every big kid does in-state and I thought there were some coachable skills in Michael's game that could translate to the FCS level. Had a great bull-rush despite playing high (meaning he is very strong). Did a good job of being disruptive in the pass game too. Just a big, physical kid. I'm glad he gets a chance to play college ball somewhere.

1st Team DT and state wrestling champ. That’s a great combination....seems like he’s gonna be underutilized at the NAIA level...

this is also for Mom. Look at where Braxton Hill was ranked.

Okay, first of all, why are you doing that other yahoo's work for him?

Second, the UM coaches only gave Braxton a preferred walk on, so he was probably appropriately ranked by Vim.

Third, I'm not sure that these rankings prove that vim is biased toward cat recruits. How do you prove that at this point? You would have to know who was offered by whom and at what point, and at what point he made his list, and then be able to cross-reference all that information with what all those players ended up doing. To be honest, looking back at these rankings just proves how futile ranking players even is. So many of the top guys ended up not doing much of anything at all, while others who weren't seen as anything special became some of the best players on their respective teams. It all falls back on the coaches who are better evaluators of talent than any of us, and they recruit based on how they see a player's future along with what the team needs are.

So, I still don't think anything is proven about whether vim is biased or not, but I'm not sure that it can be proven. I think every ranking is biased in some form or fashion.

I really only told what's his name to prove it to shut him up. I didn't expect others to take up his fight for him. Have a great day.

Why do you have to be so logical?

I like to research and find patterns.

VIM isn't biased toward cat recruits. However, where he receives his information is biased.

Everything is biased, some are biased toward the truth and others are biased toward misinformation.

I apologize for triggering you. Have a great 4th of July.

You didn't trigger me at all. I am notorious for using a lot of words when a few short words would have sufficed. All is well.
