It comes with a lot of the same benefits and perks of a regular membership but is designed to be an affordable option to attract new and younger members! Good move by the athletic department! I have always been one to believe the same with child pricing. Every 6 year old should pay the same as middle-aged me. And those darn senior citizen discounts..lazy old folks need to work so they can pay full price.
