Coach Kennedy new 4 year contract

Post #28 explains it. Just a conversation point, nothing more, nothing less.
Totally. Reminds me of Earle Solomonson’s approach to in state recruiting in the wooden bleacher era. He literally sought out the worst players possible. It was a bold strategy at the time and I remember wondering why he did things that way. Hysell and Kramer seemed to continue that tradition which was odd, so BK’s new contract is pretty cool. Makes we wonder if how those other guys did things led to it. We shall see, time will tell.

Bookmarked - receipts due 1/11/202

The Montana Grizzlies will win the National Championship this season.

You will see who knows what about football this season. BK is going to do this with his guys and show you idiots it doesn't take 25 years to build a program. He is going to do it in one season.
I believe there is a good opportunity to do just that. The team was not broken (Kennedy statement at tour stop in East Helena.)

Everything I have heard is nothing but great things about BK and what he is doing and what players think of him. Should have been given a 3 year contract to begin with.

Hauck thought every top tier recruit should come to UM, times have changed and he did not change, loved what Bobby did for the program but it was time for him to leave.

The Football program is the front porch of the University. He deserves to be consulted on this since he is now the head coach for the next 4 years.
No he doesn’t. He doesn’t know anything about the football program or the coach. UM needs to move faster, not slower. The offer had obviously been made some time ago. The front porch thing is just a cliche.

Hauck was good at coaching, and recruiting transfers. Moderately okay at recruiting out of state HS players, but most of that was due to UM being UM.

Hauck was doing poorly recruiting in state. Undeniable fact, and if you disagree, ask the parents of the players currently committed the difference between BK and BH.
Oh BS. You don’t know what you are talking about.

Yes, when Kent was in Billings on the spring tour, he told me that BK had checked off every box on the performance list and exceeded the standards set. He made it clear he had met the test for a longer contract. With regard to all the bitching on here, I've no problem the way this was handled. It's made for a lot of eGriz pages from all those that know more that the accountable professionals.
How many games and championships has he won? Are they not on Haslam’s list? Maybe Haslam doesn’t care about those things, but I do.

As a natural pessimist, I do wonder if part of what's making Kennedy look so good right now is what a contrast he is to Hauck. Clearly Kennedy is doing what he's supposed to in recruiting, but I cannot stress enough how much Hauck wasn't doing. I've heard it first hand from many recruits and their parents, including a couple that are committed to UM in this years class.
Post the names of the many recruits and parents talking about BH or GTFOOH.

Ya he does because he’s the President and he now oversees the entire University. That includes Athletics. And you don’t think he hasn’t been doing his homework on UM and the state of Athletics over the last 3 months since he was hired? It doesn’t matter what he knew about Griz Football a year ago. He’s the man now and now he’s responsible for BK. So I hope he had some say in the decision as he will be the President the entire length of BK’s contract now.

And the front porch thing is not a cliche. Kids wanna go to schools that have winning sports programs. Kids aren’t going to Alabama for their academic prowess. It’s been well documented over the years. Every AD in the country would tell you this as well.

You've talked to them - tell us who they are, so we can reach out.
