Up until around 15 years ago USAA did not have any advertising or marketing like this because the company considered it trashy.

You used to have to be a military officer to qualify now everyone who has a family member who served qualifies. Their 2 most recent CEOs are not veterans and have taken the company away from their military roots to be more similar to every other insurance company.

If you don’t look before you leap or you extend your program too far, then the program is not successful and fan support falls apart.

What’s changing in FCS and otherwise that is going make UM irrelevant. Record attendance. Record season tickets. Record football revenues. Nos. 3 and 2 in nation in past two seasons. Kept 3 top offensive players despite a coaching change. Excitement in and around program. Program is very strong.

Probably all true if/when the top 4 FCS programs move up what becomes of the FCS, even staying in the BSC for all other sports needs to change. The BSC does not produce enough revenue/ncaa credits for men’s and women’s basketball, they need a better conference that has a chance to send multiple teams each year.

Multiple teams any year would be a major improvement not to mention every year.
