2027 Montana Recruiting (10) Verbals & (55) Offers

That's a big boy for their line. Vigen is just building the NDSU model at Puds U. I mean it was dominant and successful for almost two decades, so why not. It's really nothing new. It's SEC/BIG10 football. Massive OL/DL, then get the best skilled position players you can. There is a reason those skilled players did so well in college but it didn't necessarily translate to the pros. In college the QB's and RB's had those monster hogs up front to protect them and blow open holes. If you don't have the DL to stop them, well, you gonna get rolled.

Of course it's not always 100% but Alabama was dominant for so long using that model, NDSU copied it. Vigen isn't some sort of brilliant coach. He is just "Red Beaulieu" using "Coach Kline's" stolen playbook. Again, why not the reason our grandmother's purple winning apple pies always won the in the fair. That "secret" not-so-secret recipe gets handed down to deserving family members. Eventually someone does figure out the recipe, but that doesn't mean they have access to the best ingredients. Even though Vigen and others have the NDSU FCS recipe doesn't mean they are going to get the best apples (thank you Portal).

Buuuut, every now and then, even the best baker starts to lose because someone else comes along with a different recipe, shakes it all up and changes everything.

That was a lot to say "Overall, the Puds got a big boy."

Does this mean he's committed?
He has had a number of visits looking at his social media. This is the only one where he said let’s make it special. It’s also the only one he made reference earlier to being super excited to visit Griz football. He has some Griz stuff pinned on his social media. That’s usually a good sign too. My guess is we will get this kid. A 6’4 safety with speed. Yes sir!

One of NDSU’s receivers just signed a 4 year $110 million deal today.

Official Visit... Usually means in the top 3
He is going into his senior year. If he improves, which is probable, he is going to attract a lot of attention from the P4 schools just like he already has with Florida State. They can put the NIL$ in the pocket and he gets far more TV exposure, better draft potential. he is already there physically.

I bet... a lot. I rarely lose. If I were to bet on him committing and actually showing up on campus, I am certain that's a losing bet.

My gut says he is going P4 if he has a successful senior season, NIL $ or not. Of course, I would also put just a little down on him committing to UM because I always bet a little on the longshot.

That kid is without a doubt committing to UM.
