Brooks Davis #7 Returning WR

My goodness. You sound like some of the blowhards on espn.

It might be true in the future - but he is most certainly not the MOST talented WR the Griz have had in your lifetime.

Jerry Louis-McGee
Joe Douglas
Mike Rice
Marvin Turk
Marc Mariani
Jabin Sambrano
Keenan Curran
Jimmy Farris
Jefferson Heidelberger
Etu Molden
Jamal Jones
Samori Toure
Sammy Akeem
Ellis Henderson
Matt Wells
Raul Pacheco
Shalon Baker
Scott Gurnsey
Jeremy Watkins
Mike Erhardt
Jon Talmage?

Athletes today are better in every metric, spare me you slow old takes. I am sure a few of those players were good in their day playing against slower smaller players.

None of them are in the immediate vicinity of Davis or his talent. He will have the single best year a Griz WR has ever had this season when we win the NC.

I know where you all stand so nobody is allowed don the bandwagon after it pulls out of the train station

You should get back on the wagon...

No one is denying that Brooks is a great player. It is just that you are such a little punk ass bitch in the way you address people. You have no idea how good any of these players are because you are just a kid. And you obviously have no idea how good FCS (or IAA) was before some really good teams left FCS and moved up. You can talk about differences in generations. And some of that is true. But there is no doubt that the Griz offensive lines from 2000-2009 were far superior to any group in the next 17 years. Not even close. Look at the Griz players from last 30 years that had significant NFL careers. I hope Brooks breaks every record. That would be awesome. He will be remembered with all these greats. And you will still be you.

The logic he is using is the same as people that make claims like "Tyreek Hill would have put up way better stats than Jerry Rice if he had played in the 90's," or "Kevin Durant would have been unstoppable in Jordan's era." Yes, athletes get better over time. But to judge greatness, we judge people against their time and their competition. But that would take too much thoughtful effort.

Edit -- To be clear, Davis is a stud and I could not possibly be more excited to see what he does. Love having him and his family be part of Griz Nation.
