Probably not too many heading up, most here would probably come down. If i was gonna make it, i wouldn't be neither up nor down, just coming on over.

Several of us out of Billings plan to go to the NAU game. We have two nephews that attend NAU so it should be fun.

It’s going to be about 250 miles north or straight up on a map for me to get to Flag. Anyone coming from or flying into Phoenix will be headed up too. Flagstaff’s airport is really small. American is the only airline and since American doesn’t fly to Missoula from PHX for whatever stupid reason you would have to go from Missoula-DFW-Flagstaff or Missoula-DFW-PHX-Flagstaff. You can fly directly between Phoenix Mesa Airport and Missoula on Allegiant and it is usually more affordable than the other flights out of Missoula.

Flagstaff is right at 7000'. Most will be going up.

If you are going to Hamilton are you going up the Bitterroot or down the Bitterroot? Your answer will say a lot about your Missoula bonafides. Regardless if you are going up or down, for sure your left blinker is on the whole way and you are doing 10 under in the left lane.

Hmmm. Never heard of anyone swimming or running from Missoula all the way to Hamilton. Biking (but the path is closed in places right now). I believe your question might have answered my question. New question- do you run or swim with blinkers on?

Born and raised my first 30 years and never really called it the root or definitely not zoo town. Coincidental side note, i worked with a young kid down here that had a grunge style rock called Bitter.route but has never heard of the river or valley. He also pronounced it Bitter route with the distinct break in the word.
