How long has he been the AD? Since 2012, right? To be the AD of the University of Montana for damn near 15 years and only have one conference championship in football, a sport where up until Kent’s tenure we won conference championships in regularly, is unacceptable. He should have been showed the door long ago.
What’s even more annoying is how often you hear him say something to the effect of “success is measured by more than wins and losses.” Winning championships doesn’t feel like a huge priority for him

Yeah, that’s kinda weird. Not sure what being Mormon has to do his lack of winning or vision for the program. When he took over as AD the griz were regularly winning the big sky in football and bball was getting 13 and 14 seeds in the dance. Neither of those things are really happening anymore, a decade into his tenure. My read on this is Haslam has stabilized the Brawl of the Wild series about the same as Bodner stabilized enrollment
As someone who *might* work for the griz I have been and will continue to pray to whatever god there is that leaves Kent unemployed July 1. It is that bad. Those in charge should be utterly embarrassed by the state of the department right now. And they’re not, which is the problem.
