With those offers I'm not surprised we didn't make the cut.
I've often thought this same thing. But I'm not sure if it works out this way. Does anybody have an example of this happening? With those offers I'm not surprised we didn't make the cut.
With transfer rules it's good to make offers to players you would love to have but are unlikely to sign on first go-round. If something happens after a year or two at his first choice he will remember who offered him earlier.

Really think the Texas kid Malachi Allen will be a Griz also, kid has his official visit with us next week pinned on his X, I know a bunch of kids coming June 10-12 for official visits anybody know who else is coming June 3-5?Would love to lock down those Billings guys and young Mr Manzanarez. They would all be phenomenal Griz.
Not sure about June 3-5 but I see Manzanarez is also coming for his official June 10-12.Really think the Texas kid Malachi Allen will be a Griz also, kid has his official visit with us next week pinned on his X, I know a bunch of kids coming June 10-12 for official visits anybody know who else is coming June 3-5?
That recruiting note is interesting too. A lot of the commits that Colter has had on the show have kind of said the same thing.Spoke with a West recruits dad. He thinks Olsen will definitely be a Griz. Honestly shocked he hasn’t announced it yet. Thinks Humphrey is deciding between Griz and Cats but leaning Griz. They are excited to have three West High kids together especially with how close they are. Humphrey is getting recruited by Oregon State and Washington State, plus Idaho State. Said conversations with Idaho State have been very impressive but no real chance he goes there. Told Nevada he was no longer interested. Might do some official visits this summer so not in a huge rush to commit.
Said something interesting. Recruiting has been night and day different since BK started. Dad said he is thoroughly impressed with BK because he seems to really care about the kids and the families. Said there was about a 0% chance he’d be going to the Griz if Hauck was still coaching. Also said he feels the cats are starting to get desperate. His words not mine.
So guess we will see how this shakes out. But looking good to add to the class with some more Montana kids. Then need to finalize with some solid out of staters.
I always wonder what goes on in the player's heads when they have to make these decisions. How important is legacy? For some kids a lot, for others not much at all.I see that Wyoming just offered Manzanarez a full ride, along with some other Big Sky schools. Hope the Griz can lock him down.
Not to mention all the different people in their ear. Gotta be tuff for some who are making the biggest decisions of their lives up to that point.I always wonder what goes on in the player's heads when they have to make these decisions.
