UNLV hasn't made the NCAA tournament since 2012/2013. Power 5 schools make sense, and Santa Clara was really good these last couple of seasons.UNLV and St Marys are the least surprising.

Yeah, so? UNLV and St Marys have familiarity with Money.UNLV hasn't made the NCAA tournament since 2012/2013. Power 5 schools make sense, and Santa Clara was really good these last couple of seasons.
What's the UNLV connection?Yeah, so? UNLV and St Marys have familiarity with Money.

This. Close up and personal tryout.30 point game against them when GRIZ beat them this year
I would put my money on St Mary's. The flow of $ going into that small private university will not decline. They are loaded. Not as loaded as BYU, Gonzaga, or Notre Dame, but loaded. UNLV probably has a lot of the casino $ coming their way, but it doesn't have the community feel that Money is used to.I'd be curious to know how much Santa Clara and Saint Mary's could pay Money. Saint Mary's cares deeply about Basketball but there's a lot of change now with Gonzaga out of the WCC and Randy Bennett leaving the program. Does that stop the inflow of money into the program? Santa Clara is the new kid on the block so they may not totally have their NIL resources built up to the level that SMU may.
As for the other three, UNLV is starting to get serious about Basketball and they're investing more money into the program. If they bring in the right transfers, they could be the top dog in the MWC next year. Boston College has probably the worst NIL situation of any P4 program. I saw a story earlier this week that BC only has like $200k NIL budget for the entire team. That said, Luke Murray is a great coach and knows what it takes to win, but that's also on the complete opposite end of the country too. Mizzou obviously has that SEC money and they've been to the tourney two of the last three years. I'll be curious to see who he decides on.
Really surprised that Cal and Stanford didn't make more of a run at him, or if they did that Money didn't consider them more.
Money is from the Bay. Would he be willing to accept less NIL to be back home close to friends and family? Mizzou isn’t that easy to get to and BC is on the opposite coast.I'd be curious to know how much Santa Clara and Saint Mary's could pay Money. That could definitely be apart of it. Perhaps he's willing to take less to go home. Plus he will have a lot of familiarity with St. Mary's now with Cobb on staff.Money is from the Bay. The ACC is a very good league for basketball.
Meh, id put it a distant 4th. If he had a Mizzou offer and wanted to be on the biggest stage, thats where i woulda gone. Im sure theres others factors into his decision though. The ACC is a very good league for basketball.
Bananas! Good for him! Not the school I would have thought but hope he crushes it!
Luke Murray who was Bobby Hurley’s top assistant for years is now head man at BC. So in the voice of Luke’s dad Bill in his greatest role ever as Carl in Caddyshack “He’s got that going for him.”Bananas! Good for him! Not the school I would have thought but hope he crushes it!
They hired a stud coach. Luke Murray has been with Bobby Hurley from the start. I wonder if his dad Bill kicks in some NIL money?11 players from BC went to the Portal. Only one remains. A big European guard is coming in as a frosh, I believe. Besides Money, BC has gotten 2 other players from the Portal.
Bobby Hurley gives Luke Murray a lot of credit for UConn success. He loved the staff. Great visit sealed it.
Oh shit thats right lolDan Hurley...but it's OK. Bobby just got fired from ASU.
