I believe both Bailey and Hanks will probably miss the seasonSince no one else wants to, ill take a stab at it. This is largely based off eGriz discussion and post spring game write ups.

Why Bailey?I believe both Bailey and Hanks will probably miss the season
Pretty sure there was news that Bailey's injury only appears to be a sprain and he'll be good to go for the season.I believe both Bailey and Hanks will probably miss the season

Seriously? What are the specifics?I believe both Bailey and Hanks will probably miss the season
Objectively, you always seem to have deeper knowledge than I do about other teams and I respect that a lot, so I ask this as a genuine question and not to be argumentative.... Is he truly a veteran of the position?- I fully expect the starting C to be Jack D'Ambra when he gets here this summer. The snaps from Hilden and Kanakaole looked good, but D'Ambra is a veteran at the position. Kanakaole is a big dude and I think he would be good if called upon. Hilden I thought looked a little undersized.
That’s not what I’ve heard currentlyI believe both Bailey and Hanks will probably miss the season
San Diego had a bunch of injuries on the line last year and had to shuffle some spots around. I know he has played Center and he would be one of the few upperclassmen with playing time that we have on the line. I think early on in his career he was playing exclusively at C.Objectively, you always seem to have deeper knowledge than I do about other teams and I respect that a lot, so I ask this as a genuine question and not to be argumentative.... The only time I have actually watched him play was against MSU last year, and he was playing RG. I was curious when everyone talked about him coming in as a clear Center, but I went and found the Cal Poly game from 2025 and he was at RG then, too. I went back and checked out N Dakota vs San Diego from 2024, thinking maybe he moved over due to injury, but he was playing guard in that game, too. In high school he seemed to bounce from position to position even in his senior year, and listed himself as a "T, G, C."
Is there a time period where he was the clear starting Center?
Again, I ask this in good faith and not as a "gotcha." I figure if anyone would have that granular level of knowledge it is you.
Good to know I had heard both Bailey and Hanks had torn ACLsPretty sure there was news that Bailey's injury only appears to be a sprain and he'll be good to go for the season.
I was expecting Hanks to be out. Seems like dudes career path is following the Solo trajectory. Also wondering whats up with Jemtegaard. Coach Myers had him as a starter at the beginning of camp and after the game it was reported that Freitas was playing both sides cus a player recently left town and it was also reported that Jemtegaard was no where on the sidelines.I believe both Bailey and Hanks will probably miss the season
Great feedback. Instead of the 10,000 foot view from above, im stuck with the 2,000 mile peripheralThat's pretty good Bama! Just a couple things:
- In the Spring game they had Brooks Davis, Lekeldrick Bridges, and Monte Gillman all returning punts. I think Gillman is probably our best bet there. They never did any kickoffs but I would feel good about Gillman and Bridges back there! Don't want Davis getting beat up on returns!
- I fully expect the starting C to be Jack D'Ambra when he gets here this summer. The snaps from Hilden and Kanakaole looked good, but D'Ambra is a veteran at the position. Kanakaole is a big dude and I think he would be good if called upon. Hilden I thought looked a little undersized.
- At DT it sounds like Bailey is gonna be ok by the time the season rolls around. I would expect him to be in the mix with Semaulo, but of course we gotta see who they bring in over the summer. I think Semaulo will be pretty good by the time it's all said and done. He was one of the few bright spots on last years DL.
- At LB the clear starting unit to me looks like Wing, Solo, and Eklund with Oven a close second. I would feel good about that entire two deep. Goodman and Mose both flashed on Friday.
- At CB I would say the two starters are Stroud and Johnson. Stroud was a ball hawk and really flashed. Johnson looks good but you can tell he's still trying to learn the D. If Gentry is back to full health in time for the start of the season, then I think he'll start opposite of Stroud. Also, watch out for true freshmen Jayden Nicholas. I could see him playing right away.
That's all I got! Hope this helps!
But if we don't rotate centers, how will we know our backup is game readyLooks like a pretty solid stab. I would say that I don’t see Rohrer as TE 1. He’s slimmed down and might end up in there on third down situations as a pass catcher, but still don’t believe he’s made the necessary gains as a blocker. Davis showed a little more versatility, but it was such a small sample.
The line will be up in the air, but I don’t think we will rotate centers all year. They are really pushing Lucas to take charge of that group and Buehler is starting to look the part. Still needs to pack on some weight. Lots of youth, and will be trial by fire, but how else will we see who can step up and grow into the line we need?
We need a couple transfer DT’s regardless of whether or not Hanks plays.
That linebacker group listed would surprise me. I think wing and solo for sure, but Goodman moved down to end and we have a solid 2 deep of DE’s. Will be scheme dependent on opponent would be my guess.
There is going to be some good competition in the secondary for those jobs.
Anything on the kid from Browning?Since no one else wants to, ill take a stab at it. This is largely based off eGriz discussion and post spring game write ups.

I would think the top 3 pickups should be big body'ed DT's. The other positions at least have players that can be coached up. There are empty slots in necessary DT spots, especially if Hanks is out for the year and Bailey is possibly missing time.So thoughts on transfer portal additions...1 OL and 3 DL???
People are talking about a QB 1 and done, but hopefully wouldn't need to go 3 deep there. Flowers would get it done it seems. LB is good. Unless a stud CB available, trenches is where things are needed right?
If you're referring to Running Rabbit, he's no longer on the roster. No explanation from anyone why.Anything on the kid from Browning?
