How did this LB from Helena slip out of the state on us? Looking like he will get signed by an NFL team.

He was 2nd team all conference AA with Helena High. Goes to Montana Tech for 2 years where he dominated the Frontier Conference in 2022. Moves onto Idaho and ended up falling Eck to New Mexico. Now he's getting legit interviews with the Seahawks and Broncos.

How did we let him slip out of the state to Idaho?

If I remember correctly, out of high school he was interested in pursuing an engineering degree. To add, he was only in Helena for 2 years, having grown up in Pocatello.

The craziest part is we recruited his sister for track, and she only triple jumped about 32 feet. Not to drag on her, but we really wanted one of the siblings, just not the one who was an elite athlete.

He was a DE in college.

Maybe he never came to a UM camp.

I have a friend that played safety for Wyoming when Josh Allen was there. Wyoming was also my friend’s only FBS offer. He wanted to play for coach Stitt here but the Griz didn’t even give him a walk on offer. Had some interest to walk on at some other FCS programs though.

My bad... correction on Josh Allen. Still, very over looked.
