I heard that the Griz were far behind MSU when Hauck retired with this guy. He must like our new staff a lot. They made up all the ground we were trailing behind MSU with him in only 1 month.

I hope TE. His athleticsm was on full display during hoops season. Either way, I'm enthused !

LB for now.

I would argue this kid may be the best overall athlete in this class. Big Sky had planned on playing him at TE/H on offense and LB on defense. An unfortunate injury to the QB starter thrust him into that position, and for obvious reasons limited what they could do with him on the defensive side of the ball. Could have started at numerous positions and would have been all-state in all of them.

Great kid, great family too!

And Justin Green ignored Missoula ? Huh ? I wonder how Parker Link and Evan Pyron ( 3 star ) from Hellgate wound up in our '26 recruiting class--dumb luck ? And how did Wesley Ehret, 3 start WR out of Belgrade wind up going to UM when he is literally less than 10 miles away from MSDUI ... more dumb luck ?

Look, I too am over-the-moon happy that we signed Kasberg, King and Sirmon, but I totally reject the claim that we didn't recruit Missoula under Coach Green and Hauck !!! Recruiting is similar to warfare in that the bad guys also get a vote-- MSDUI can recruit Missoula and we can recruit Bozeman and Belgrade .

So as of right now we recruited 2 stars out of Missoula high schools in 2026 and 3 in 2027--good for us : ) !!!

No one has ever said they didn't recruit Missoula or Montana. It is also easier to get a kid when the other school isn't really recruiting them.

Yeah, who recruits 3 star kids in Montana-- not MSDUI-- because there are just so many of them : ( !!!
