Nope. You asked a poster a question. You look it up if you want the answer.

And I don't trust anything you say, because you make lots of mistakes and you don't understand football.

Here's a mistake you made a few days ago. Ochs came to UM in the fall when Glenn was still coaching and said he wanted to come to UM. Glenn hadn't left. Hauck wasn't even on the radar.

"It was the previous connection with Hauck from Colorado that made Craig Ochs want to come here. He would have not come to Montana for another coach."

You say 100% of players should be paid. Due to injuries. You never played the game and are clueless about football injuries.

You were there in person for all of Stitt's 3 years of game, even road games? Liar.

Why would anyone rely on what you say? You should post less and make sure you know what you are talking about before you post.
I was wrong about one thing that was 23 years ago and you are also wrong. Hauck was in the picture recruiting him to Washington. You haven’t played football in 50 years, I have. When you played there were offensive lineman under 200 pounds. No wonder you are clueless about football injuries and whether players should be paid or not.

You are wrong on lots of things. Hauck was not involved in recruiting Ochs to Montana. We are talking Montana. I specifically talked to Ochs and his dad about the recruiting and their love of Montana. My recollection is that the family and Craig had been around Montana alot because they had a house in Montana.

You never played football at all. I was an all-Ivy cornerback on a team that is considered the best in the modern era of the Ivy League. We were no. 14 in the nation in D1 one year, won the Lambert Trophy as best team in the East one year and were second another year. Ahead of Penn St one year, and 2d to them the other year. Played against multiple running backs and others that went to the NFL. Played against and still friends with the runner-up to the Heisman.

I know alot about football injuries. I know from some of my former NFL friends, about NFL injury issues. I know from my good friend who currently plays in the NFL and is captain of his team and has been for a half dozen years, I follow college football closely. My Dartmouth football nephew is one of the top sports ortho surgeons in WA. We talk about sports and football injuries frequently. Many of my football teammates became sports ortho surgeons. I have talked with them alot too.

You are clueless about the subject. There's not much worse on egriz than a bigmouth who doesn't know what he's talking about frequently.

I played football in the modern era 15 years ago. 50 years ago is not the modern era. I get my information on football injuries from people who have played at a high level and are dealing with injuries many years later that seemed insignificant at the time. 1:40 in the attached clip he has been dealing with lingering issues from this hit as well as others for 35 years after it happened even though it seemed fairly insignificant at the time. What is wrong with players making $10,000 in NIL money a year to play football when the schedule makes it difficult for them to have a part time job like non athlete students?

You don't understand football injuries because you never played at any decent level. You are a big talker and claim all these connections. I don't believe you. I can tell you don't understand football and football injuries from what you post.

Yes, some players get hurt. Some bad. Many/most are goofed up for life. People get hurt in all kinds of kinds of sports, including college and non-college.

I have said I don't care about NIL money for actual services. I have said for many years that I have supported athletes making smaller money for many smaller and normal things. I don't support pay for play at all. It's ruining the game. You apparently don't understand that, because you don't know or understand the game. And you are a big mouth without substance, knowledge or experience.

Don't accuse me of saying things I have never said. If you are coming to come at me, pay attlention. Or, I will have to keep clobbering you.

My friends tell me the number one way to tell if someone doesn’t understand football is if they say I don’t understand the game. You haven’t played at any level in the modern era. I never said I supported the current system of pay for play. You said you don’t support all players making money. I think everyone should make a smaller amount.

Your friends must be clueless like you are. Many of the best and most knowledgeable posts on egriz have the same views as I do. If players don't do anything to deserve NIL in the narrow definition, then my view is that they don't deserve to be paid.

This is what I said on Saturday:

"I have always thoughts that smaller benefits should br okay. Dinner, drinks, tattoos. Local
ads. Some payment for jerseys and gear."

You aren't paying attention.

My friends say that anyone who makes a dumb statement like you just did, is clueless:

"is if they say I don’t understand the game."

My god, how dumb is that?
