The Texas state high school playoffs get more attention than the FCS playoffs do and are more difficult too win.

Lies. This year's state playoffs had a combined 2.1m for 12 playoff games to view. Thats an average of 175k a game. One FCS semifinal game had 2.8m.
I think he was referring to game attendance, as butts in the seats. Overall FCS playoff attendance is poor. Excuses abound, but it boils down to fan priorities.

To be fair, his words were "get more attention". That should include more than just attendance. If that was the case, he's still lying. 2025 Texas state playoffs reached 191,815 while the FCS was 252,870. Granted the average per game is higher but once again, he didn't actually clarify what he was talking about, instead just spewing random misinformation.
Assertions without evidence. Why post this kind of nonsense?

My guess is he knows he doesn't know what hes talking about so he lies about some things thinking he wont get fact checked.
Funny - I hadn't thought about that place in years, but I actually had lunch there one day when I was in town this season. Pretty sure that was the first time I had been there since I was a student.
