How many FCS schools are actually making money from football?
and include it in the winter olympics!Easy answer: Just make the dance/pom/cheer teams a sanctioned sport. Those girls work their ASSES off, and the hours aren't limited because they "aren't a sport". My daughter went to school full time, spent 30-40 hrs a week in the dance studio, traveled, did competitions, etc., etc...There's 25-35 girls (and some guys) on these teams. They'd LOVE to be under the umbrella of the AD...they're already there, and the money is already being spent.
This would have saved me alot of money in the past.Easy answer: Just make the dance/pom/cheer teams a sanctioned sport. Now we're playing LSU! You really are smoking the good stuff! The trade off could be 1 to 4 playoff games at the FCS level or as an FBS team you could try and schedule a p4 team in the non- conference schedule like and USC, Oregon, Or somebody like LSU at their place.
If you do well enough to get a bowl game and play against a Michigan, or Tennesse or another p4 team like that in a destination city what would you choose? ..
My choice is obvious..![]()
You do realize for the last 5 years LSU has scheduled either a g6 or fcs team at least once sometimes twice in the same year.. you are truly clueless..Now we're playing LSU! You really are smoking the good stuff!
How many of those teams were from outside Louisiana? You do realize for the last 5 years LSU has scheduled either a g6 or fcs team at least once sometimes twice in the same year.. you are truly clueless..
Some over here have absolutly no idea how p4 teams fill out their schedules ..![]()

If UM moved up, the ticket price increases would be alot more than $7.50. Do fans in the MW travel much to follow their teams? I don't know.I feel like the $7.50 increase estimate for seat pricing is very conservative. Think of the away teams fans who would be thrilled to come to Montana for a game. Which fans are willing to pay a premium to come visit Missoula for a football game, Northern Colorado and Portland state, or San Diego state and NDSU?
And us Montana fans, instead of watching Northern Colorado, sacred heart, and Portland state, we get to watch our Griz go up against Hawaii, NDSU, Jeff Coates Nevada….a $7.50 increase seems cheap as chips when that’s considered.
Wyoming fans would. If UM moved up, the ticket price increases would be alot more than $7.50. Do fans in the MW travel much to follow their teams? I don't know.
Yup, but who else travels well or would travel to Missoula. One schools doesn't define a conference. I know I sure wouldn't travel to Wyoming to watch a game.Wyoming fans would.
NDSU travels well and would travel to Missoula, the others probably not so much. New Mexico and UNLV are both doing better than they have in a long time so their fans might travel more than they have in the past.Yup, but who else travels well or would travel to Missoula. Really not sure of the rest. UNLV and New Mexico are more basketball schools. Travel would be fun to Wyoming, UNLV, USAF. The only schools that bring anyone now in Big Sky are Eastern, Idaho and the Cats. So it is probably not a significant difference on who would travel to Missoula.Yup, but who else travels well or would travel to Missoula. One schools doesn't define a conference. Why not? Did it in '14, should've won it, but no running game, gassed from the elevation. A bad weather delay.Yup, but who else travels well or would travel to Missoula. One schools doesn't define a conference. I know I sure wouldn't travel to Wyoming to watch a game.
UW not letting the Griz use their IPF during the extended lightning delay was Craig Bohl at his finest. I like Laramie as a destination and will definitely be visiting if the Griz return to play there. Why not? Did it in '14, should've won it, but no running game, gassed from the elevation.
